PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A resident at the Chateau On the Ridge retirement home in Paragould turned 100 Tuesday and ended up in handcuffs.

At her party, Ollie Winn received a visit from her friends at the Greene County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff David Carter and Deputy Chief Rick Mellow met the birthday girl at the county fair last September.

Carter and Mellow said she was such a joy to be around.

"When we met her at the fair we were so impressed by her good nature and her outlook on life," Mellow said.

Carter asked Winn one thing she has never done and she told them she had never been arrested in her 100 years.

After Sheriff Carter awarded Winn with a honorary deputy award, then told her she was also going for a little ride to the slammer.

"One hundred years old and I'm being arrested?" Winn asked.

Everyone laughed as she hopped into the patrol car with the handcuffs locked around her wrists.

She made it back minutes later to celebrate triple digits with her friends and family.
