Crimestoppers: Deputies looking to identify suspected counterfeiter

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Sometimes crime doesn't pay, like our crime of the week on Crimestoppers.

The case this week comes from the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators are looking to identify a woman who was seen entering the Dollar General on Highway 1, south of Jonesboro.

According to the report from the sheriff's office, the woman came into the store, bought a pack of cigarettes and paid for them with counterfeit $20 bills. The report stated she drove away in a white, four-door car.

If you think you can make an ID on this suspect, it's worth money. Call in that tip to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP or text it.

In the message, type 935stop as one word followed by your tip.

You will then get a message back from Crimestoppers with your anonymous tip number. The number is yours to keep for any future reward.

We have Curtis Bobo and Leigh Ann Broadaway on warrant watch this week.

Curtis Bobo has 17 warrants. Fourteen of them are for contempt of court. The warrants are out of the Jonesboro and Brookland Police Departments.

Then there's Leigh Ann Broadaway and her 40 warrants. Those warrants are from both JPD and Craighead County.

Do you want some money? You can earn some by helping police locate Leigh Ann Broadaway or Curtis Bobo.

Just call Crimestoppers anonymously at 935-STOP or text in your tip.
