Thieves break into Jonesboro church...again

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Once again thieves have struck a Jonesboro church.

Sallie Brown, co-pastor of Faith Soul Outreach Church, 808 Warren, reported someone broke in and stole some items.

According to the initial incident report, the burglary happened sometime between Sunday afternoon and Tuesday night.

Officer Tanner Middlecoff reported a window air conditioning unit had been pushed through to the inside to gain entry. He noted a chair was located just outside, under the window.

It appeared, according to his report, the crook used the chair to reach the hole and then crawled through.

While inside, the culprit stole 2 security cameras and damaged two doors.

Brown said this was not the first time the church has been broken into.

Last November a burglar stole approximately $4,000 worth of computers, cash and musical equipment.
