Memphis Redbirds to host seasonal job fair

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

For some, working at a ball park would be the dream job.

If you or someone you know falls into that category, we have news for you.

The Memphis Redbirds will host a seasonal job fair on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19-20.

The team is looking to hire nearly 250 people.

Gameday positions include the following:

  • Marketing assistant
  • Media relations assistant
  • Sound board operator
  • Boardwalk operators
  • Dakstats operator
  • Emcees
  • Usher supervisors
  • Box office ticket sellers
  • Grounds crew
  • Operations assistant
  • Mascot
  • Video board operator
  • Boardwalk supervisors
  • Public address announcer
  • Team Rockey
  • Ushers/ticket takers
  • Bat boys and bat girls
  • RBI instructors and umpires

All positions offer flexible hours and schedules, according to a news release from the Memphis Redbirds. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

The job fair will be held in the Home Plate Club at AutoZone Park from 3 until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
