Man pleads guilty to shooting up apartment

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man accused of opening fire on a Jonesboro apartment last October pleaded guilty Tuesday to committing a terroristic act.

Keith L. Real, 24, received a 6-year sentence in the Arkansas Department of Correction followed by a 10-year suspended imposition of sentence (SIS).

Investigators said Real stood outside an apartment in the 600-block of East Alpine and fired 5 to 7 shots at the residence because he was "angry" with one of the occupants' friends.

Scott Ellington, prosecuting attorney for the Second Judicial District, said Real also pleaded guilty to robbery charges and felon in possession of a firearm.

He received 6 years and 10 years SIS for each charge.
