POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) -

Repairs could soon be coming to Pocahontas City Hall.

At a city council meeting Tuesday night, the council discussed a resolution to replace the roof of the building.

Mayor Kary Story told Region 8 News that the roof is flat, 40 years old and has been leaking for years.

Mayor Story said he's been looking into bids to have it replaced recently.

He said at this point, it's been patched so many times it is likely beyond simply needing to be repaired.
