Police arrest two men after armed robbery of father and son

GOSNELL, AR (KAIT) -

The Gosnell Police Department charged two brothers with aggravated robbery, theft and endangering the welfare of a minor in connection to a reported armed robbery earlier this week.

According to Gosnell Police Chief Darrell Watkins, Dillon Marbry, 22, and Colten Marbry, 23, both of Gosnell, were arrested for robbing a man and his 14-year old son.

The police report stated that the father and son contacted Colten Marbry about a Playstation 4 that was posted on a Facebook yard sale for $250. Colten told the father to come to a residence on Clement.

When the father and son arrived, the pair invited the victims inside the home after the father showed the money to the suspects.

After all four entered the residence, the victim said one of the men, later identified as Dillon, walked out of a bedroom with a camaouflage 12-guage shotgun and pointed at the father.

The report states the suspect “told him (victim) to give him the money or he would shoot him.”

The father handed the suspects the money and left the residence.

Dillon and Colten Marbry were ordered to appear in Mississippi County Circuit Court.
