(KAIT) -

Winter Weather is expected for parts of Region 8 throughout Sunday.

According to the Region 8 StormTEAM, most of the precipitation will be sleet before it changes to freezing rain. Meteorologist Justin Logan says Region 8 could see up to 0.20 inches of ice.

We could also see some snow in Southeast Missouri. That could total up to an inch of snow and sleet combined before it changes to freezing rain.

Chief Meteorologist Ryan Vaughan says it won't take much sleet to cover the roads because it has been so cold recently.

Ryan did say that travel conditions should be fine by Monday.

We don't have many church closings as of 8 a.m., but you can click here for that updated information.

The roads in Arkansas are all clear or mostly clear as of 8 a.m., but some ice has been reportedly sticking to the roads.

Our Southeast Missouri counties already have some roads that are covered or mostly covered.
