STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - A Missouri woman was injured in a crash after driving on an ice-covered road early Sunday morning.
According to a crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tarah L. Volz, 28, was driving west on U.S. Highway 60 at around 4:45 a.m.
The report states the highway was covered in ice.
When the Dexter woman got about a mile east of Fisk, she lost control of her car, ran off the road and overturned.
An ambulance took Volz to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center to be treated for her minor injuries.
Her SUV was totaled.
Police say she was wearing a seat belt.
