Four drug arrests made in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Four Clay County residents were arrested Monday after a search warrant turned up drugs in a Corning home.

According to Sheriff Terry Miller, Clay County deputies along with the Corning Police Department and Arkansas State Police searched a home in the 300-block of East Hazel Monday.

Officers located several pieces of drug paraphernalia and multiple baggies of suspected methamphetamine in the house.

The following people were taken into custody:

Tiffany Hawkins, 23, of Corning – Possession of methamphetamine with intent, Felony possession of drug paraphernalia

June Yandell, 34, of Corning – Possession of methamphetamine with intent, Felony possession of drug paraphernalia, 2 counts of felony endangering the welfare of a minor

James Yandell, 44, of Corning – Possession of methamphetamine with intent, Felony possession of drug paraphernalia, 2 counts of felony endangering the welfare of a minor

Ralph Dodd, 62, of Knobel – Possession of methamphetamine with intent, Felony possession of drug paraphernalia with intent

Dodd’s house was also searched for a suspended imposition sentence.

Officers found a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, a large amount of money, and several items of drug paraphernalia in that home.

They were all taken to the Clay County Detention Center and are awaiting bond hearings.
