$1,500 reward offered in Gipson murder case

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A new reward has been offered for anyone with information about an unsolved murder case in Jonesboro.

Jonesboro police state on their Facebook page the reward for information in the shooting death of Brian Kyle Gipson is now $1,500.

Crimestoppers is pitching in $500 while a unnamed individual has posted $1,000.

Gipson was 29-years-old when police say he was shot to death on May 23, 2015. He was found dead in the street in the 2700-block of Curtview Drive near Allen Park.

In June 2015, police released a photo of a car they say was seen leaving near the scene of the shooting right after it happened. At the time of the photo release police said the driver of the vehicle might have information that could help the case.

No suspects have ever been named.
