JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro public schools organized several fundraisers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation this year.
Each school had a different fundraiser but the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School got creative.
VPA students brought in money for a piece of duct tape, which was used to tape Principal Dale Case to the gym wall Wednesday.
Burris said the students really enjoyed the fundraiser this year.
"They have been buying tape all week long and so much came in today last minute because I announced tomorrow is the last day to buy duct tape. The money came pouring in this morning they were running in the building waving their money," Burris said.
VPA has raised a little over $1,400 so far and still has a few more days of donating left.
