A Better Region 8: Meet the Candidates

We've seen the debates, the signs in people's yards, the social media posts, and the news coverage right here on KAIT.

There's no doubt, it's election time in Region 8.  All eyes are on March 1 as we get ready for what some are calling The 'SEC' Primary.

I have a question for you: How well do you know the candidates and how they measure up against each other?

This Saturday is your chance to hear from the candidates and make up your mind.  Craighead County Farm Bureau and KAIT are partnering for an event called: Meet the Candidates, this Saturday starting at 11 a.m. at the NEA fairgrounds.

Candidates from state and local races will each have a few minutes to tell you what they stand for, what they plan to do if they get in office, and why you should vote for them.

If you can't make it to the fairgrounds we'll be there for you.  We'll stream it live on KAIT8.com and on the Region 8 News mobile app.

Being informed, knowing who's running for office and what they stand for is American and it makes this A Better Region 8.
