JPD: Suspects used doggie door to get inside home

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Three teens suspected of trespassing inside a Jonesboro woman's home showed dogged determination in their efforts to get in.

The victim told police she arrived at her home in the 3000-block of Quail Drive around 7 p.m. Thursday to find a silver Mazda Protégé backed up to her garage.

She immediately backed out of her driveway and went to a neighbor's house to call 911.

Officer Maurice Kinnard and a reserve officer cleared the residence to make sure no one was still in the home, the report stated.

After finding no signs of forced entry, Kinnard reported it appeared the suspects entered through a doggie hole in the back door leading into the garage.

The victim walked through the house, but reported finding nothing missing.

The initial incident report listed three possible suspects, all 15 years of age, as possible suspects. Due to their age, their names were omitted.

If arrested, they could face criminal trespass charges.
