PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A Paragould woman and her kids have a new place to call home thanks to Habitat for Humanity.

In November of 2014, Crystal Clemmer of Paragould was chosen for the organization's latest habitat home.

Friday, Habitat for Humanity was able to hand Clemmer the keys to her new home.

She told Region 8 News that it's the first place she's lived in a while with central heat and air.

She said this new, affordable home wouldn't have been possible without Habitat for Humanity.

"It's like a big family and they really care about the people that they're helping and the community," Clemmer said. "It's a great organization. I'm glad to be a part of it and will help out any way I can."

Work is already underway for the next Habitat home in Paragould.

The house is in the dry and once they put the final touches on the Clemmer home, the organization can get to work finishing the next one.
