Lawrence Co. couple arrested on drug charges

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A joint operation involving four law enforcement agencies ended with the arrests of two people on drug charges.

The Third Judicial Drug Task Force, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, and Black Rock Police Department arrested Ronnie Lee Moore, 39, and Barbara Lucille Moore, 35.

At the time of their arrest, according to a news release from Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce, officers found methamphetamine (ICE) and drug paraphernalia.

The couple is expected to be charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance-methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
