JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A group of Region 8 doctors worked Thursday to educate the public on their health.
St. Bernards Heart and Vascular medical staff sponsored a Healthy Heart Luncheon at St. Bernards Auditorium.
A panel of physicians discussed heart disease and answered questions from those in attendance.
Several stations were set up around the room as well, focusing on different aspects of heart health and treatments.
"We can come here and we talk to all the doctors and we get to ask questions and it's very informative," Lake City resident Ludienne Finley said. "And that's what we enjoy because we learn things and then we go to the doctor, we know what questions to ask."
The event was held as part of American Heart Month, which is observed in February.
