PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department arrested three Paragould men after an ongoing investigation using controlled buys of methamphetamine.

For two and a half months, the department observed transactions of controlled buys from an undercover vehicle.

Following the investigation, the sheriff's department issued warrants for Richard Strong, Nicholas Martin, and Dakota Betts.

Strong and Martin were arrested for delivery of methamphetamine.

Betts already had an active felony warrant out for his arrest and Greene County deputies picked him up at his home.

Before they transported him from the scene, deputies state Betts "removed a black zip up case from his left pants pocket and threw it in his tool bag."

Later, deputies were given written consent to search the home. They discovered that black zip up case contained a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine with and a small bag with a white powdery residue.

Betts was then additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
