BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Mountain Home police said officers are searching for a man involved in a multi-city police chase in Baxter County.

According to the department’s Facebook page, officers tried to pull over a white Chevy van for speeding near the McClure Lane and Glenbriar Drive intersection on Sunday.

Police said the van did not stop and led police on a chase through Mountain Home, Salesville and Norfork. Baxter County sheriff's deputies then deployed stop sticks which took out the van’s tires.

A man and a woman came out of the van and started running from police.

Police said they were able to arrest Stevie Dixon, but not Christopher Croteau. The 35-year-old man is still on the loose.

According to the Arkansas Department of Corrections, Croteau was in custody in 2013 and was released on parole.

Dixon was charged with obstructing governmental operations and fleeing on foot.

She is in the Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $1,860.
