BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

The Batesville Police Department is warning businesses and citizens to watch out for counterfeit money that has been used around town this week.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the bills are marked for motion picture use only.

The post did point out, though, that the differences might be easy to miss if someone was not paying close attention.

If you have any information about the person responsible for using the counterfeit money, you are urged to contact the Batesville Police Department at 870-569-8111 or email investigator Jeff Sims at jeff.sims@batesvillepolice.com.
