JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The Northeast Arkansas Humane Society said last week that they were in need of donations, especially for their nursing dogs.

They specifically requested food donations for the two dogs they have nursing ten puppies.

Two young girls used their birthday party to collect donations for the animals.

According to a post on the humane society’s Facebook page, Hazel Modelevsky and Georgia Quinn Craine recently turned three years old.

They accepted dog and cat food donations at their party and took the food to the NEA Humane Society.

The shelter thanked Hazel and Georgia in their post.
