Incoming judges plan to sever ties with The Justice Network

Expect big changes in Craighead County District Court when two new judges are sworn in next year.  David Boling and Tommy Fowler say they both plan to discontinue the court's use of The Justice Network.

The Justice Network, according to its website is a "viable and cost effective alternative to incarceration."  The Justice Network deals in probation services for misdemeanor warrants among other services.

Discontinuing the use of the Justice Network by district court was a central part of the campaigns of Boling and Fowler.

The two men will be sworn in Jan. 2.
