WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) -

There may soon be condominiums built in Walnut Ridge, according to Mayor Charles Snapp.

The mayor said in a Facebook post on the city’s page that he met with a developer Thursday morning who is interested in building in Walnut Ridge.

According to the post, the investor purchased the land a while back and is now considering building condos.

This is only the third or fourth discussion the mayor has had with them about this, but the developer did provide some sample photos of the plans they are considering.

“I think it’s a great idea, to allow people to own their own homes,” Snapp wrote in the post.

Snapp said he is excited that an investor is considering this upgrade.
