BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Some people are lucky. Others, like a Mountain Home man, are “lucky for life.”

Starryll Stradford won $25,000 a year for life after winning the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s Lucky for Life game.

Stradford chose the cash option and received $390,000.

He matched five of the six numbers drawn Monday, Jan. 25. Had he matched all 6 numbers he would have won $1,000 a day for the rest of his life.

Stradford and his wife, Ann, plan to pay a few bills with their prize and save the rest.

He bought his winning ticket at the Gas n’ Go in Mountain Home. For selling the winning ticket, the store is eligible for a $3,900 retailer bonus.
