Arkansas man sentenced in child pornography case

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A 61-year-old Arkansas man has been sentenced to more than five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography on his computer.

Prosecutors announced the 63-month sentence on Friday for Rogers resident Donnie Vest. He was also ordered to pay a $15,000 fine.

Court records allege that Vest admitted to investigators he had downloaded the images after a search warrant was served on his house in 2014. An investigation found multiple images on his computer.

Vest pleaded guilty to the charge last December.
