Police arrest man ‘passed out’ in Walgreens parking lot

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police arrested a man early Saturday morning after they found him ‘passed out’ in his vehicle at Walgreens, 108 East Highland Drive.

Police found Corrie Robinson, 35, parked sideways in two handicap parking places, which he did not have handicap tags.

The report stated the keys were in the ignition and the taillights were on when a police officer ‘beat on the windows pretty hard’ to get him to wake up.

Robinson told the officer he did not have anything to drink that night, however, the officer noticed Robinson had bloodshot, watery eyes and his speech was slurred.

After the officer attempted to give him several field sobriety test, Robinson was arrested.

According to the report, the officer later found an empty bottle of vodka under the passenger seat.

Robinson was given citations on parking in a handicap zone and a DWI.
