JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Craighead County Election Commission met Monday to review provisional ballots.
There were 11 provisional ballots that were reviewed and checked against the voter registrar.
The commission approved three ballots in which voters voted at the wrong polling place and denied six ballots in which the voters were not officially registered.
The approved votes were added into the Election Day totals.
The commission is checking the status of two other voters who were felons.
Felons are allowed to cast a ballot if they have finished their probation or parole.
Once the status of these voters is confirmed, the ballots will be approved or denied.
A person whose ballot was denied can contest the decision on Friday at the Election Commission Annex at noon.
The commission will give each voter with a provisional ballot a letter explaining if and why the ballot was approved or denied.
The commission also added in one military ballot and is waiting on four more to come in by Friday.
