Blytheville police arrest one aggravated robbery suspect, searching for other two

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Blytheville police arrested a suspect believed to be involved in an aggravated residential robbery, but they are still searching for two others.

Franklin Williams was taken into custody Tuesday after a brief standoff with officers at his residence located on Walker Street.

According to an incident report, police were called Sunday to Moultrie Street after a victim stated that her ex-boyfriend, Franklin Williams and two juvenile, believed to be related to him, forced their way through the front door armed with handguns.

The victim said Franklin tried to attack her while she was hiding in the bathroom with her 1-year-old child.

Another victim at the home stated that the other two others pointed the guns at them, attempting to hold them there in the living room.

After stealing some electronics, the suspects fled the house. 

According to Captain Scott Adams, Franklin Williams was arrested Tuesday afternoon. Police are still looking for the other two suspects.       

Williams is charged with with aggravated residential burglary, theft of property, engaging in Criminal gang activity, aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a family or household member and possession of firearm by certain persons.

On Tuesday, bond was set for Williams at $75,000 and a no-contact order was issued.

The victims said one juvenile was wearing a red hoodie and the other was wearing a grey hoodie.
