New Orleans, LA (A-State) – Junior’s Anthony Livingston and Devin Carter of the Arkansas State men’s basketball team were chosen to the 2015-16 Sun Belt Conference All-Conference Teams, the league office announced Tuesday.
Livingston collected second-team All-SBC honors after averaging 15.5 points and 9.4 rebounds. The Washington, D.C. native posted 14 double-doubles on the year, including 10 in conference play. The 6-foot-8 forward posted 20 or more points in 10 games and had 12 or more rebounds in seven contests. Among Sun Belt Conference athletes, Livingston ranks top-10 in scoring, rebounding, free throw percentage and blocks.
Carter, a third-team All-SBC selection, led the Red Wolves by averaging 17.3 points per game. The Champaign, Ill. native posted 15 games of 20 or more points while shooting 46 percent from the field. The 6-foot-5 guard drained 88 three-pointers, tied for the third-most in single-season program history. Among Sun Belt Conference student-athletes, Carter finished the year ranked fifth in scoring (17.3), fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (41.7), second in 3-pointers made (88) and third in minutes per game (35.7).
