Blytheville police investigating armed robbery at Subway

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Blytheville police are searching for three suspects after an armed robbery Wednesday night.

According to the incident report, the Subway, 1800 East Main, was robbed around 9:30 p.m.

According to the employees, three black men entered the store through the front door and jumped over the counter.

They were reportedly wearing all black with masks and gloves.

One of the suspects hit one clerk in the head with a handgun. The clerk suffered minor injuries to his head.

The suspect then pointed the gun at the clerk’s head and said, “give me the money or I will shoot you,” according to the incident report.

The other employee was forced at gunpoint to a back room and kept there until the robbery was over.

The suspects took $400 in cash from the register.
