WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) - A report of two cars chasing each other through Walnut Ridge ended with one man arrested, but not for speeding.

According to Officer Bubba Blackwood with the Walnut Ridge Police Department, police responded to a call of two vehicles chasing each other around midnight Saturday.

Officers found the cars at the Valero gas station and asked the drivers to come to the police station.

After being interviewed by officers, the suspects were free to leave.

But police noticed a digital scale in one of the cars before the driver left.

They then searched the car and found around $280 in cash, five meth pipes and the scale with some methamphetamine residue on it, according to Officer Blackwood.

Police arrested 32-year-old Christopher Price. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
