JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police arrested a teen Sunday after a woman videotaped him masturbating in a parked car.

The 22-year-old woman told police she and her young daughter were sitting in the parking lot of 2309 E. Nettleton when she noticed her child looking at a man parked in a nearby car.

When she leaned over to see what her daughter was looking at, the woman said she saw the 17-year-old suspect masturbating in the front passenger seat.

The woman called police, then recorded the man’s actions on her cell phone as evidence.

After viewing the video, police spoke with the suspect.

During question, according to the initial incident report, the suspect “admitted that he was watching porn on his phone and masturbating.”

When an officer asked why he would do such a thing in public, the teen reportedly said he was waiting for his brother to come out of the business and became “bored.”

The suspect said he “didn’t know anyone could see him,” the report stated.

Police arrested the teen and took him to the Craighead County Juvenile Detention Center where he was cited with public indecency.
