Hutchinson appoints several to state boards, councils

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed several people from Region 8 to Arkansas state boards and councils.

Among the appointments announced Monday in Little Rock:

  • Ronald Carroll, Jonesboro, to the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2019.
  • Cassandra Hill, Osceola, to the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020. Replaces Lamar Cole.
  • Daniel Shults, Pocahontas, to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District #3. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020. Replaces Jack McCord.
  • Glenn Ford, Forrest City, to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District #4. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020.
  • Bud Moxley, Monette, to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District #2. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020.
  • Tyler Griffin, Wynne, to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District #1. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2019. Replaces Phillip Boeckman.
  • Barry Davis, Paragould, to the Trauma Advisory Council Appointment expires July 1, 2017. Replaces Brian Thomas.

    The Ashley County Sheriff's Office says a body found on a creek bank near Hermitage is believed to be that of a missing Crossett woman.
