JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Fire crews were called Monday night to a house engulfed in flames just off Highway 351 on CR 772 in Craighead County.

According to Brookland Fire Department's Assistant Fire Chief Wayne Reece, the house had no electricity and they could not locate the homeowner.

Reece also said they believe the fire started in the back corner of the home where they found gas cans and lawn equipment.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
