Arkansas State picks new head basketball coach

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The hunt for a new leader of the pack in men's basketball for Arkansas State University is officially over.

Arkansas State Athletics announced on their Twitter Tuesday afternoon that A-State has hired Baylor University assistant coach Grant McCasland.

There will be a press conference held Wednesday at the Convocation Center Auditorium at 11 a.m.

McCasland has been with Baylor for five seasons and previously held head coaching positions at Abilene Christian University and Midland College.

McCasland will replace John Brady who announced in November that he would be leaving the program.
