Maybe you've seen an ad about Ag for Autism's "Bracket Bonanza" coming up Tuesday at ASU's Centennial Hall. Hopefully you're joining us for an evening of food, fun and fellowship! Today, I want to share with you why this event is so important.
The Bracket Bonanza is Ag for Autism's largest fundraiser of the year. Now in its fifth year, Ag for Autism has raised more than $195,000 to:
• provide children with autism therapies they may not be able to afford or that insurance does not cover;
• educate families touched with an autism diagnosis; and
• give autistic children opportunities to grow, learn and excel.
Since being formed in 2011, each year this partnership among ag-related companies has been blessed to raise more—and therefore DO MORE for autistic families in and around Region 8—than the year before. We all know someone with autism who could benefit from an Ag for Autism grant.
Please help us make that happen - Join us for the fun at Bracket Bonanza Tuesday night! Call Mary Beth Hoke for tickets at 870.336.3863. For just $75 a ticket or $500 for a table of 8, you'll enjoy a casual night of March Madness, great food, and a silent auction, plus a shot at $3000!
If you can't make it, you can still help! Bid on Bracket Bonanza silent auction items online. See the Ag for Autism Facebook page for a link. Make a donation right from the Ag for Autism website. Plan to join us as a volunteer! And, if you, or someone you know, could benefit from an Ag for Autism grant, visit our website for an easy-to-complete application due this year by May 27.
On behalf of all of us at Ag for Autism, and those across Northeast Arkansas touched by autism, thank you for making this a Better Region 8.
