JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The concession company for Arkansas State University, Sodexo, wants more non-profit groups to work the concession stands.

The company offers the chance for non-profit organizations like church groups and student organizations to work during events as a fundraiser.

The company provides all the food and equipment and all the group has to do is work during a sporting event or concert.

In return, the groups receive 10 percent of the sales from that event.

Sodexo guarantees $500 for football games and $250 for smaller games, events and concerts.

Jeff Pollard, director of operations for Sodexo, said it is a great chance for non-profit groups to raise money.

"There are always opportunities and we are always looking to bring more people on," Pollard said. "The more people we have work, the more money we can give back to the community and the more events we can cover."

Pollard said they had about six organizations participate last year.

He said one group raised about $3,000 working football games.

If an organization wants to sign up to work concessions, they can contact Pollard at
