12 C Chicken broth (Fresh or canned)
1. Bring chicken broth, chicken gravy, butter or margarine, salt, pepper and food coloring to a rapid boil over medium-high heat in 6-quart pot.
Drop tortilla strips, one-at-a-time, into boiling broth - stir occasionally.
Cover. Remove dumplins from heat and set aside for 25 minutes.
Uncover and lightly stir dumplins - recover for an additional 15 minutes. If thinner dumplins are desired add reserved broth.
Serve and enjoy.
