3 T Oil 1lb. Ground beef 1 t. Garlic powder 3 T Low sodium soy sauce 1 T Brown sugar 1 - 16oz. Mixed Chinese vegetables, drained 1 - 16oz. Can tomatoes and juice 2 Green peppers, cut in large pieces 1 Small onion, chopped 2 T Corn starch 1/4 C Cold water
Brown beef in oil; add to beef, garlic powder, soy sauce and brown sugar. Cover and cook over high heat for 5 minutes. Add Chinese vegetables, tomatoes, peppers and onions. Cook for 5 minutes longer. Mix corn starch in cold water, add to cooked mixture. Cook until thickened. Serve over rice.
