JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Planning Commission will consider a site plan Tuesday, March 22 for a 195-thousand square foot facility on Highland Drive.
If approved, the facility would be located at the corner of Highland Drive and Barnhill Road.
A site plan application explains that the building would be owned by H&M Development Company.
H&M Development would then "lease it to a tenant to use it as a manufacturing facility."
Right now, it is dubbed "Project Timesquare." There is no word yet on who might lease the building.
The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce told Region 8 News that an announcement on the new business will take place Wednesday, March 23.
On their website, H&M Development Company states they have worked with a number of manufacturing facilities across the United States including Winchester Ammunition in Mississippi, Axis Pipe and Tube in Texas and Pirelli Tire in Georgia.
H&M Development also worked with Nordex when it was located in Jonesboro.
