Pork Tenerloins and Rice

4 tenderloin pork chops
1 1/2 C uncooked rice
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 can beef consommé
1 C water
1 Pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. thyme
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 can mushrooms (Optional)

Remove all visible fat from chops.  Spray skillet with non-stick spray.  Brown the chops.  Place rice in a large baking dish that has been sprayed with a non-stick spray and lay chops on top.  Combine tomatoes, consomm√©, water, soup mix, mushrooms and spices.  Pour over chops.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees for one hour and fifteen minutes.
