Pork Tenerloins and Rice

4 tenderloin pork chops
1 1/2 C uncooked rice
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 can beef consommé
1 C water
1 Pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. thyme
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 can mushrooms (Optional)

Remove all visible fat from chops.  Spray skillet with non-stick spray.  Brown the chops.  Place rice in a large baking dish that has been sprayed with a non-stick spray and lay chops on top.  Combine tomatoes, consommé, water, soup mix, mushrooms and spices.  Pour over chops.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees for one hour and fifteen minutes.
