JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A trip to Jonesboro paid off for a Blytheville man.

Cornell Morris won $75,000 playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s Jumbo Bucks Crossword instant game.

Morris bought the winning $3 ticket at Jordan’s Kwik Stop on East Highland.

For selling the winning ticket, the store is now eligible for a $750 retailer bonus.

Morris said he told his sister first and then his nephew Tony, who accompanied him Monday to pick up his prize.

Morris said he plans to use his winnings to renovate his house and share the prize with his sister whom he says “has always been there” for him.
