MALDEN, MO (KAIT) - Residents in Malden will vote on a proposed transportation sales tax increase in April.
City Clerk Marilyn Fiddler said neighborhood roads are in poor condition.
Fiddler said there are several potholes and the asphalt is worn thin.
She said the city does not have the money or budget to fix the roads, so they are counting on residents to vote.
The vote on a half-percent sales tax increase will be April 5.
