Paragould fast food manager faces theft charges

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A Paragould fast food restaurant manager has been charged with theft.

According to a probable cause affidavit, 46-year-old Jeffrey Darrell Osburn stole $24,831.12 from the Arby's restaurant, 1606 W. Kingshighway, where he was employed between Dec. 2, 2015 and March 15, 2016.

The affidavit states financial records show Osburn was not depositing money in the bank as required. He was keeping the money instead.

During an interview with police, Osburn admitted to stealing $5,244 from Arby's but denied stealing $24,813.12, according to court documents.

Osburn's bond was set at $10,000 under the condition that he has no contact with any witnesses involved in the incident, not return to the property and not commit a felony or engage in any conduct that will result in his arrest.
