PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

A Greene County woman was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after she “threw a toy light saber” at deputies during a police chase.

According to a post on the Greene County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, Jennifer Pettit lead deputies on a chase starting at Oak Grove and ending at County Road 600. At times, the chase reached speeds of 60 mph on a gravel road.

During the chase, Pettit “stuck out her middle finger at the officers several times” and threw the toy out of the window.

Deputies stopped Pettit by boxing her car in during the chase, slowing to a stop.

Pettit is charged with felony fleeing as well as several misdemeanors.
