GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

The Greene County Sheriff's Department just finished an investigation that involved 13 vehicle break-ins.

Sheriff David Carter told Region 8 News the break-ins happened all over the county including on County Roads 628 and 510.

The department received 13 different calls but only about 10 of them actually had items taken.

One of the victims, Glenn Travis and his girlfriend Sandra Johnson, explained what happened when they realized their things were gone.

“When he got up to go work, it was about 5:30 or so he was getting ready to walk out the door. He came back in and hollered at me, his truck door was left open and obviously, they were spooked,” Johnson said. “He said his fishing pole and tackle was missing. So we came out, looked around, called the sheriff's department and made a report.”

Sheriff Carter says they located some of the stolen equipment after responding to a domestic dispute.

John Rubbo and Quinton Martin were arrested for the thefts and other charges.

They both face a $100,000 bond.
