Name released in deadly Bono crash

BONO, AR (KAIT) -

One person was killed as a result of a crash in Bono Thursday morning. 

The crash happened U.S. Highway 63 near Murphy Oil USA just before 7 a.m.

According to the Arkansas State Police crash report, Jessica A. Hall, 21, of Cordova, TN was driving south on Highway 63 when she crossed the center line and the turning lane and drove into oncoming traffic. 

Hall hit the driver's side of a car and then hit a truck head on. 

Hall was pronounced dead on the scene by Craighead County Deputy Coroner Jeremy Throesch. 

James Thomas, 40, of Jonesboro was driving the truck she hit. He was injured in the crash. 

Thomas was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center to be treated. We do not know the extent of his injuries. 

The driver of the other car was not injured, according to the report. 

The road was wet and it was cloudy outside when the crash happened.
