A flooded roadway in Region 8 is back open.

Craighead County Dispatch states Highway 226 at Cash is back open after being closed on Thursday.

Traffic had been re-routed from Hwy. 226 to U.S. Highway 67, just south of Swifton.

    According to Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook, a body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock for an autopsy after the body was discovered this weekend in the Mississippi River.

    A Greene County woman was killed Saturday night and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 63 in Sharp County, according to a preliminary fatal crash summary from the Arkansas State Police.
