JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro man went to the hospital after being tased and hit with a bat at the park.

According to the police report, the victim went to Craighead Forest Park, 4910 South Culberhouse Road, with three other people Saturday.

The victim told police when they arrived at the park the suspects took him down a hill where no one could see them.

Two males then approached the victim and told him he messed with the wrong guy’s girlfriend.

One suspect then tased the victim’s right hand while the other suspect hit his left elbow with a bat.

Police said there was a large bruise on the victim’s right hand and a red mark on his elbow.

The report also stated the two suspects kicked the victim several times.

The suspects took the victim’s hat, cellphone and $30 before leaving in a red Pontiac with two females.

A family in the park found the victim and helped get him to the hospital for his injuries.
